Release Notes (aka Typos)
I've never claimed to be perfect.
On that note, the following are my oversights or similar notes that might help you as you work through "Social Media Marketing: An Hour a Day." I invite you to add anything that you find, too, so that the book becomes better for future readers.
- Chapter 1, page 12: The second line in the quote under "Trust" should read "...how valuable can what you offer really be?"
- Chapter 2, page 28: The reference to Figure 2.5 should end with "a DVR penetration of about 35% by 2010.
- Chapter 4, page 52: Under Reed's Law, the third sentence should read "Compared with a network of 10 people, the change in value for a network of 100 people..."
- Chapter 4, page 53: Following the tip, the second and third sentences should actually be read together: "Under Sarnoff, ..., the gain in value by attracting 10 times the members is 10X."
- Chapter 7, page 134: In the tip featured on this page, I incorrectly specify the Net Promoter scale as being one to ten. In fact, it is zero to ten, where zero (0) means 'no way' and ten (10) is 'absolutely.'"
- Appendix, page 390: "Jake Nielsen" should be Jakob Nielsen."
