Success Secrets of the Social Media Superstars

When Mitch Meyerson, primary author and publisher of "Success Secrets of the Social Media Superstars" first contacted me, he asked "Since your book talks about doing social media in an hour a day...." I'd like you to write the closing chapter of this new book I'm working on, to share with people how you get all of this done in an hour.

If you've been in one of my workshops... you'll know that "in an hour" applies to the exercises in my first book, "Social Media Marketing: An Hour a Day." It contains 55 one-hour (give or take) exercises that take theory to a hands on, practical level.

What Mitch was asking for was different: "How could a small business owner or entrepreneur participate in a what is a time intensive activity ... and still run and grow a business?"

So, I looked at my own day and mapped it out. I'm far from the perfect example (in fact, I'm closer to "what not to do...") but all that aside, I actually do have a pretty good process for managing to participate on the social web while also managing to meet or beat client deadlines. Along with Mari Smith, Gary Vee, Chris Brogan, Ann Handley, Deborah Cole Micek and twenty other true superstars, Mitch's book is a great resource for anyone wondering how to make sense of the social web, and how it applies to business.

Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.

Have not read the book, but I have heard of Mari Smith and Gary Vaynerchuk, they are students of Dan Kennedy. Looking forward to reading it.
